Mariu is the first gastronomic “kebabberia” in Italy that twists the imaginary linked to kebab.
In a perfect blend of two culinary traditions we take inspiration from Italian cuisine to legitimize a classic dish from the Middle Eastern cuisine; local seasonings perfectly match with this dish and with the preparation of the meat, which has also strictly national origin, vertically in the Middle East style.
The name Mariu, loving diminutive of Mariuccia, is that of the woman to whom Vittorio De Sica dedicated a famous song of the ’30s. She is the woman of those times, the today‘s grandmother, to inspire with her teachings in the kitchen the ingredients list and the place design.
